Holy Baby Batman!

Well, it's official. I've been stumped. I've not even met my child and I'm already speechless. I will say that Holt is taking this a bit better than I am. Well, I think he is at least. On Friday morning at 5:15am I jumped out of bed reminding myself that I needed to be the first one to tell my best friend Tracy "Happy Birthday"...I'm a bit competitive. But, I promised myself the night before that I'd take a pregnancy test to put my mind at ease about being late. Took the test, put it down then proceeded to have coffee and answer some email. Can you believe I didn't even call Tracy. Ugh... a bit distracted I guess. I checked the test, it said "Pregnant" and I thought (not kidding) "well, that's odd that the word "not" is taking so long to appear". Yeah, pathetic I know. Anyway, after about 20 minutes it occurred to me that I was actually preggers. I brought Holt the biggest cup of coffee I could find. He was slowly waking up and I said, "honey, I need to talk to you" and he said "Oh no Doodle, did Simba eat our new remote control?" My witty reply was.."Um, no... you wish" (ENTER SHOCK)... "oh my gosh... your pregnant?"

Yeah... that's when this craziness all began....
